Four hours of quiet.
Every working day.

Halcyon holds back your notifications, mutes the apps that don't matter right now, and gives you long, protected stretches to do the work you actually care about.

No credit card required · Works with macOS, Windows, iOS, Android

The problem

Your tools interrupt you more than your coworkers do.

Slack pings, email banners, calendar nudges, app badges. Each one costs you minutes of refocusing — and they arrive every few minutes, all day. The result: a workday that feels busy but produces almost nothing you're proud of.

How it works

Three steps to a quieter workday

1

Install the companion

One small app on each device. It learns which tools you use for real work and which ones just make noise — no setup wizard, no week of tweaking.

2

Schedule your sessions

Block out the hours you want protected. Halcyon syncs with your calendar, marks you as heads-down, and holds the line until the session ends.

3

See your patterns

A weekly review shows when you focus best, what breaks your streaks, and how much uninterrupted time you actually got. Adjust, repeat, improve.

Features

Everything between you and a quiet screen

Halcyon isn't another to-do list. It works underneath your existing tools so they behave better.

Deep Focus Mode

One keystroke silences every non-essential app across all your devices at once. Calls from people you've whitelisted still get through.

Notification Batching

Messages queue quietly and arrive together at times you choose — top of the hour, end of a session, or whenever you open the digest.

Session Analytics

Track focus streaks, interruption sources, and your best hours of the day. Numbers you'll actually act on, not vanity charts.

Cross-device Sync

Start a session on your Mac and your phone goes quiet too. End it anywhere and everything wakes up together.

Team Rooms

Shared focus blocks for your whole team. Everyone sees who's heads-down, so urgent pings wait and meetings find better slots.

API + Integrations

Hooks for Slack, Linear, Figma, Google Calendar, and a clean REST API for anything we haven't built yet.

FAQ

Common questions

Nothing is deleted or lost. Messages queue silently and arrive together when your session ends, or at the digest times you set. Senders aren't notified that anything was held.

Yes. You keep a short whitelist — family, your lead, a client on deadline — and calls or messages from those people break through immediately, every time.

macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android, with sessions synced across all of them. A Linux client is in open beta for Team customers.

No. Halcyon controls when notifications are delivered — it never reads their contents. Analytics are computed from timing metadata on your own device, and nothing is sold or shared.

An admin sets shared focus blocks for a group. During those blocks everyone's status updates automatically, meeting invites are deferred, and Slack channels go quiet. Members can opt out of any block.

We'll ask if you want to subscribe. If you don't, your account simply pauses — no surprise charges, and your settings are saved if you come back later.
